Debit Card Customization
Would love to have debit card customization. Custom text, images, colors, etc. would all be a helpful and fun way to manage multiple debit cards connected to pods. Perhaps even premium options like metal cards.

One Time Top-Up
In addition to "One Time Transfer" as an option, it would be useful to have "One Time Top-Up" as well. Often, I need to bring a pod's balance up to a specific amount (shopping pre-auth pod, etc.) and find myself having to do math when I would rather just say "Quickly set the balance of this pod to X".

Top Up to [Target Balance]
Current State Target Balance is primarily a visual feature today. While it helps users see an intended balance, it doesn’t drive functionality. This limits its practical value. Proposed Enhancement Enable rules to: Top Up [PodName] to [PodName’s Target Balance] Value to the User This makes each Pod the source of truth for its role in a user’s money flow, and self-documenting at the same time. For example, I use Pods for recurring bills. Sometimes the bill changes, or I adjust how much I want to keep in that Pod. Right now, I include the monthly amount in the Pod’s title for quick reference, but I still have to open the rule and update its hard-coded value whenever something changes. If rules could reference the Pod’s Target Balance directly, the Pod definition would stay clean, accurate, and consistent—without manual upkeep. Extra Mile Enhancement Add an option to: Limit transfer to % of [Target Balance] Why This Matters Many recurring bills are split across two paychecks per month. Being able to top up to, say, 50% of Target Balance per paycheck is a natural use case. This approach would also support long-term savings goals where the Target Balance may change over time. By using percentages, users could spread contributions evenly over a time horizon without needing to re-tune rules.

Due Date Column in Account List
I'd love it if we could expose the Due Date for at the very least Liability pods in the /account-list page so that I can sort and see balances based on that. Would be nice to have some sort of color code on the Map page for approaching due-dates like a red border around approaching due-dates. Kind of a splinter off this https://sequence.frill.co/b/6vrq580l/feature-ideas/improve-pods-for-budgets I believe the ideas in that suggestion link are really cool, but this is a request for a much more targeted feature. Something maybe a bit simpler to start with. Stretch goal would be to have the ability to have Due Dates and have that play well with Target Balances.

Simulations of rules w/o actually tranfering money
Allow users to run a full set up and a time lapse simulation for their rules before actually transferring money to increase the confidence in activating a set up in Sequence

Improving liability payments and adding bill pay
Integrating with a 3rd party provider that should increase speed, reliability and coverage of liability payments (RPPS is the provider).

Add "Yearly", "Quarterly" and "Semi-Yearly" to Trigger schedule options on specific day of year
I leverage multiple "Sinking Funds" where I contribute per-paycheck into high-yield savings accounts and transfer out to pay for annual renewals of subscriptions, holidays, birthdays and such. I would like to start first by auto-paying annual subscriptions. Ideally, I would like to pick "Annually on April 7th" for example to transfer from a Sinking Fund to a Credit Card/Liability account.

Colorful Edges 🌈
Cave Arnold -- 05/09/2024 Enhancement Request : Please consider adding a color wheel picker to each sub rule to set the color of the edge created by the rule. This request is lower priority than my others as it is aesthetically pleasing and fun to have alternatives to all grey edges. It also helps with tracing flows if there is a method to the rainbow of madness. You may also add the ability to choose edge thickness and styles for completeness. [Update 5/13/2024] You may want to consider for example, a different line weight and style for internal (Free) versus external (Paid) transfers! That would be a very helpful visual queue. I included crude mock ups by altering screenshots in paint. (See GitHub link) GitHub link: https://github.com/CaveArnold/Sequence/issues/3#issue-2288646077

Back up pods for NSF
Have a backup account in case some account is encountering insufficient funds transaction (and the backup has enough)

Schedule a one-time transfer for a specific date and time.
This is a fairly common feature I've seen with banks. The feature will let the user define an amount and date for a one-time transfer days or months in advance. For additional functionality, could be based on a conditional, automatically check if funds are available, or pull from a backup account if funds are low.

Provide access to viewers by beneficiary
Invite viewers to my account (accountant as an example) that would be able to view only some of the entities but not all of them

Enrich info on mouse hover
Please consider adding the following metadata to a mouseover popup for accounts/pods/income sources/liabilities/nodes of any type in the Sequence graph. This makes it easier to quickly verify the last time an account was updated and to have my comments with emojis pop up so I can tell my cash flow story! Thanks!
